BAPEN Annual Conference in Belfast

On the 26th & 27th November, BAPEN hosted their annual conference in Belfast at the International Conference Centre (ICC). First off, a huge congratulations to the team at BAPEN for making this year’s conference one the most engaging and insightful to date. Delegates got to choose from a wide range of educational seminars, poster presentations, and even experience interactive sessions at the ‘Nutrition Village’.

Later they enjoyed an alternative to the traditional (& somewhat outdated) formal dinner party escapades with a night full of Irish entertainment in one of the most historic and well-preserved cities in Northern Ireland.

Over 20 exhibitors were present at the show, with global companies such as B Braun, Fresenius Kabi, and Abbott all showcasing their nutritional product ranges and patient support groups like PINTT, who are doing great work to support patients on intravenous & nasogastric nutrition therapy.

The atmosphere was electric throughout, it was inspiring to meet so many people who want to help you improve safety and patient outcomes. Thank you to all delegates, new and old faces that came over and still believe our product can make a difference.

If you did come over and speak with the NGPOD team, you will have seen a ‘NOW AVAILABLE’ printed on our stand; that is because it finally is! This attracted NHS organisations who are extremely interested in evaluating the device to try and improve the safety of NG tube-fed patients in their practice. We look forward to working with them to make that happen.

The NGPOD family is growing, and fast.
