Video: 36 Volunteers Experience Nasogastric Tube Placement Procedure at Royal Preston Hospital
On the 28th March 2019, we carried out a successful 36 patient volunteer trial at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility. Full clinical trial will commence after the Easter break at the beginning of May.
The Video
The experience comes as part of the partnership between NGPod Global, Centre for Health Research and Innovation NIHR Clinical Research Facility and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Preston Hospital.
We couldn’t have done this without the ongoing support from the fantastic Nutrition and Research nurses at LTHTR and members of the NIHR Clinical Research Facility. Thank you to everyone involved, here’s to patient safety!
