Preparing for launch

Equipped with our new eye catching exhibition stand Gordon was kept busy all day with enquiries and expressions of interest for the introduction of NGPOD when it is ready for launch.

“There was a lot of interest from the clinicians especially around testing for NG Tube position in children who may people identified as being more challenging to establish correct positon in than adults” said Gordon after the conference.

He further commented, “In general the way NG Tubes are tested for position in Ireland is the same as the UK, so they appreciate the problems associated with obtaining aspirate, difficulties with accurately reading pH results and the risks of X-Ray misinterpretation in the same way UK healthcare professionals do.”
